I’ll never forget my first experience at a Cirque Du Soleil show. The show was so innovative, magical, entertaining, inspiring, moving, awesome and memorable. Watching the performers push the limits of their bodies and science to entertain an audience rendered me almost speechless.

Cirque du Soleil Toruk The First Flight is one of the newest traveling shows. The live-action Cirque du Soleil performance is inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar. The setting of the show is in Pandora, years before humans visited.

Through December 2016, the show will be touring throughout the United States and Canada, and you can view tour dates and cities for tickets here. I can’t wait to be a guest of the show at their touring stop in Worcester, MA.

People told me before I attended Amaluna, “Oh, you’ll love it!” And you will, but as much as I love coffee, sappy movies that make me cry, and live-theater, aside from giving birth, there has not been any other experience in my life that has been as amazing as sitting in the audience a Cirque du Soleil show.

The images and videos below can give you a glimpse of the show, set, costumes, make-up and stunts, but it is an immersive experience that I’m sure you will really need to visit to appreciate.

Disclosure: I will be provided tickets to attend a performance of Toruk The First Flight with my family, any opinions are my own.
