STEM toys are the rage in the toy industry. These toys aim to provide children with exposure to activities that promote interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Also within this same category, many companies, like GoldieBlox were designed especially to help girls seek out these types of careers, given that only 13% of women enter the engineering field.
GoldieBlox are construction toys that encourage kids to solve a problem using connectors, pegs and spools.
