Coolibar SPF Swimwear for Kids

Several years ago my father had some skin cancer removed from his face. With an upcoming trip to the Caribbean he went on the hunt for large brimmed hats, long sleeved swim shirts and shorts. He stumbled upon Coolibar UV clothing online. After my Dad purchased several Coolibar suits and raved about them, they decided to buy one for Gavin last year at Easter.

Gavin’s Coolibar suit is 2 pieces. It is a long-sleeved top with a mock neck and a separate pair of tighter fitting shorts. The fabric is SPF 50+.

My favorite thing about Coolibar swimwear is that I typically only have to put sunscreen on his face, neck, hands, lower legs and feet. It’s so much quicker and I have a lot less worry that I’m going to miss a spot and cause him to get a sunburn.

This suit is so well made, he’s actually on his second summer with the same one. The long sleeve shirt also makes it easier to put on and take off his Stearns Puddle Jumper swimming vest. Definitely more costly than you would expect, but so worth the investment. Now that it’s the end of the year, I’ve seen 20% off sales on their site.

I was given a Coolibar swimsuit as a gift from my parents for my son as a gift. The opinions expressed above are entirely  my own. The empty Starbucks ice coffee in the picture,  I also purchased myself.
