Water balloon games have been entertaining children and adults outdoors forever. However, many kids, whether they have fine motor challenges or not, have a hard time learning to tie-off the balloons once they are full of water.

Zorbz has designed water balloons with a self-sealing technology. No need to tie them any longer! Inside the water balloon there is a small clear valve, so once the balloon is filled, and the end of the balloon is pulled and elongated, the piece slides into the neck of the balloon, sealing it without needing to tie the balloon.

There is definitely a bit of a learning curve in terms of making sure the valve sits securely in the neck of the balloon. I’d suggest filling the balloons and using them right away. We put a bunch in a bucket that had some water in the bottom and if the balloons sit around to long in a bin, over time they had a tendency to leak. Also, don’t try to pinch the valve  shut either, that didn’t seem to help the balloon stay closed and it would frequently leak and squirt. Or try and pinch it shut and give it to someone and see what happens! I’ve been told there is no need to worry if the clear valves are ingested accidentally by pets or children, but just be mindful they could emerge from the balloon either when it pops or while you are filling it.
